Bear 12-30/ AMPS 345/ +3 237/ +5 108/ +8 127/ +9.5 164/ PMPS 380/ +5 485/ +7 392

Given that great run of beautiful numbers yesterday I'd say things are looking good. He bounced but no where near what he was doing and he seems to be settling nicely. :D

I think I am seeing a possible pattern, but I know it is too soon and that we will see more changes. His bouncing is definitely modified on Lantus, I like that and I'm sure he feels better with lower numbers.

What a lovely blue, at an almost unbelievable +8. I feel like I received something I really like but I'm poking it to see if it is legitimate or could possibly disappear. History shows a bounce on the horizon, we'll see, hmmm.

Nice bounce back is what I see. Bear is a cutie :cat:

I think Bear is a bit confused about when Christmas is and it is too early for my birthday gift.
Bear's history is being rewritten at a +9.5.
The +10 & +11 would be food influenced so I am going to wait and test at PMPS.
This has been a great day. :D

Nice. Looks like better duration on Lantus so far. :) Looking forward to that first blue preshot.

I'm a bit nervous about that one. From reading the stickys they recommend guidance for shooting below 150BG without a lot of data on his SS. Do you think we have enough Data?

Ask yourself the question “how low can this dose take my cat”? That’s the number you look at. I would suggest the first time you see below 150, do not feed, and post here for help.

Don’t worry about regular meals or snacks influencing his numbers. He will be let you know he wants a reduction by showing you a below 50 regardless.

(Today you are likely seeing some NDW, which tends to show up cycle 2/3 of an increase. You test frequently, Ravan) This is from Wendy&Neko's post/

What is NDW? I looked in stickys at the abbreviations and I didn't find an answer.

I am trying to learn as much about Hypoglycemia induced Hyperglycemic, Somogyi, bouncing

My Ravan just went thru a Huge bounce That I was told was also NDW from a tiny increase. I've been on the forum for about 11 months & even switched to Levemir insulin because i thought it might help stop his high bounces. So far it hasn't :(

You can check out Ravan's SS to get an idea of his dose & his bounces :) No problem with asking questions on my post. We all learn something the more questions asked! You also learn a lot reading the othe condos & looking at SS.

Best of Luck with Bear. He looks so much like my Ravan!! Except Ravan has a few grey hairs,he's 16 1/2 yrs old.

Happy New Year! My wish for Everyone is that 2019 is our BEST year ever!:joyful::joyful::joyful:
