Baxter spent all day yesterday a IHOP!! We had barely any movemet in his numbers in the AM. We had a very high PMPS. I was gone most of the PM cycle & wasnt able to test until +7-155. Not that bad.
I did see him @ 4am eating the bit of food he always leaves in his dish. I am starting to wonder if he is doing this every night & when I test him @ 7am the number is food spiked?

This morning we started out...
AMPS-301-.6 which I discovered he didn't eat much of his food.
+6-196
+8.5-186

I decided to go back to .6 because yesterdays .7 which was in increase made him flat. I question am I doing this right. We have had 3 pink PS in a row. I like the color of pink, but my goodness I HATE THIS SHADE!

I only hope today he IS NOT at IHOP again.

His beautiful PMPS might not last long. He wanted to go to the garage with DH, who failed to tell me he was going to run the saw. Then two neighbors came over which he is usually fine with. With the saw going & the neighbors talking loud it freaked Baxter out :o . He took off for the bushes in the front of our house. bcatrun_gif It took me forever to get him back inside. I have just been sitting with him trying to relax him. I'm sure the pretty 200 is gone.
 
Stress causes BG to go up but not for long. Once he's calm, the BG will come back down. Sort of like our blood pressure... ;-)

NICE AM cycle and BEAUTIFUL PMPS!!!! Poor Baxter :sad: Yes, the stress probably sent his numbers up, but I find with Hershey that after the stress clears his numbers come back down.
 
Ok thank you I wasn't sure how long it took for the BG to lower after a stressful occurance.

I am going to test him in a little while.

Has he been watching TV? If so, he may have seen the new IHOP commercial for the red velvet pancakes. Hell, I saw it and wanted to go to IHOP....I mean, pancakes that taste like CAKE!?!
 
Baxter, good for you!

Linus, see what you could do if you put your mind to it? Just gotta give up the dog food. Anyone up for an intervention?

Oh my that sounds yummy! I haven't seen the commercial. I will have to watch a little more TV I need to see that.

Me, me I am always up for intervention. I would like to help Linus stop eating dog food.

AHEM! Grayson's at it again... Anyways, I'm back up & running. Computer crash yesterday morning ... fortunately hard drive is intact!
