Looking back now I should have given the full 1.0. I didn't because I was shooting 1 hr early from Baxters normal schedule & wasnt going to be home to do any testing.

+8=335

PMPS-410 :o Goodness!! Now this is upsetting. I gave him 1.5.

Tonight is one of those nights I want to rip my hair out over frustration. Actually I felt like crying when I saw that high #. We started out so good this morning.

You'd miss that hair in the morning...
it's one day, one dose, one crappy number. You learned something, right? Tomorrow the sun will rise, and so will you and Baxter. And it'll be a better day!

So next time, you'll feel more confident about shooting a little more into a similar number. Data gathering......just one cycle. They are just words, but the info will help down the road.

Live and learn. Every day is a new learning experience for next time. You shot the dose because you love Baxter and want the best for him. Now you know that he can handle a little more insulin.

No one here will ever fault you for lowering too much. Better high for a day than too low for a minute.

 You are right!
I would wake up & say "What the heck was I thinking!"

Thank you everyone for your words. They all made me smile & feel better about tonight.
