Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to report that Basil is still enjoying his time at the Falls. Three and a half years now!
He is happy, cuddly and cute. He and his non-diabetic sister Rosie turned 17 last month. I think age is making his appetite a little less predictable. Or maybe I should say, his appetite never wavers, but his approval rating for various foods does. He is nice and slim, on some glucosamine for stiffness which seems to be helping. He just came in and climbed up on the printer to demand his 3 o'clock feeding, in fact.
Anyway, he does ask me to stop in from time to time to remind the other kitties that it is worth it to get all those sticks, because if you are lucky, the day might come when you don't need them anymore, and you get one stick a month!
Best to everyone!!
