Basaglar subbed in for Lantus?

So my clumsy butt dropped my vial today so I reached out to some people on Craigslist trying to replace it. The best offer so far is a guy that has basaglar not Lantus. Carbon's been on Lantus for 3 months. Is it safe to switch him to basaglar? Each and every option I have is over 2 hours away so I want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I'm definitely going with a pen this time given that I've dropped a vial of Lantus and a vial of vetsulin.

I love living in the middle of nowhere here near Palm Springs but sometimes it bites me.

Go for it as long as you feel you can trust it. That's Glargine too - 'Lantus' is a brand name for Glargine Insulin.

I did the testing on Basaglar with China.....she reacted exactly the same as she did on Lantus, so I don't see any reason you shouldn't go for it
