Our dog Bandit (my sisters), was just diagnosed with amelanotic melanoma. It is a malignent cancerous growth on the skin near the corner of his left eyelid. We got a new vet and I
like him a lot (we weren't real happy with the last vets we had seen) and he is going to try to surgically remove it tomorrow.
I don't know anything about this disease. We are still reeling from Witty's death. Anyway the little I have read said it can occur in both cats and dogs, if anyone has any advise or
information about this type of cancer, We would really appreciate it. I'm at work and will check back when I get home later tonight.
