Much better news today.
I just talked with the vet and there are definite improvements. His fever is gone and WBC has increased a little. His BG is at 200 with no insulin since Tuesday afternoon. He did sniff at food this morning and they are going to try later on again to see if he will eat on his own. If he will not, I have already given the vet permission to insert a feeding tube. They haven't said when he could be released, but if he keeps improving, I am hoping within the next couple days.
