Ballonee- I lost her.

Hello, I wanted to do an update here because so many of you have helped me and Ballonee on our journey through this diagnosis.
I lost her tonight. They did a chest x-ray because she was struggling so much with breathing and found a tumor in her lung and a lot of fluid in her pleural space which was making breathing difficult. They tried to take out some fluid but she was suffering and the vet said it was time for her to go. My poor precious baby. I'm absolutely broken.
Thank you so much for all of your help, caring, and support throughout the years. So much love.

Spencer, I'm so sorry for your loss. It can't be easy, but you did all you could for Ballonee and gave her dignified life until the very end, taking her to the vet and caring for her. That takes a lot of devotion. RIP Ballonee, no more suffering. cat_wings>o

I'm so sorry it was her time to go. She was one lucky kitty to have you... and she will continue to be with you in spirit.
