You can continue on this dose for another cycle or two and see what the numbers tell you....
or if you can monitor a little more, go to 2.75u.

That's what the dose should have been when you decreased.

The important factor with those in between syringe line doses is consistency. Whatever you call 2.75u, you just want to repeat it.

Yes, I will be getting the 1/2 unit syringes today or tomorrow so will probably go up to 2.75!

you should be seeing green by now.....

use food to boost numbers if he goes low....

gravy if he goes really low.... and post here for help.
Hopefully someone will be on for support....

I think he's going to surf... especially if you just give his normal low carb food.

looks like another dose reduction.....
Congrats!

try to get another test ....
you want to make sure that when the gravy wears off, that he's staying safe.
Altho' you don't really need to pull out the high carb unless he goes under 50.

It's good to have an example of what that gravy does for him.

Went to 59 at PM+5. Gave FF gravy lovers. I definitely don't want him to get too low bc when he went hypo last time, when I tested and took him to the ER, his BG was 71 on my meter. I think the little stinker also may be catching onto the fact that if he doesnt eat his (expensive) food, I'll give him some super yummy food! :)

a dose reduction to 2.25....

if you want to drain the depot a little....you can give a lesser shot, just remember the depot is still in play so you still want to monitor this morning no matter what you shoot....

on a syringe without half unit markings, 2.25 would be about a hair above the 2.0 mark....

This mornings number :(

I got the half unit syringes last night. I can adjust the dose starting tonight then. Thanks!

pink is just his bounce response to that green last night....

at least it's only a few floors upward and not all the way back to the top....

he might even see a green late in the cycle tonite..... depends on how slow his recovery is.

Updated through this morning. Doing a curve today - gonna try a 3-hour one. Man, I really dislike these syringes. I will need to find different ones - there's no way my sitter will be comfortable with them. Now, to search online! :)
