Well,
We have two cats that look a lot alike, and I thought our other cat, Chamboard was munching away on his own food (using up what's left of the HC corn-based nasty Science Diet dry we have). I don't know how long Duncan was sitting there munching away but it was a good couple minutes before I realized it was him. grumpy_cat grr_red
I checked his BG hours after and it was out of normal range, but not by a ton. But he's had very LC wet since then and he is still climbing... SS says it all. So, If he is still climbing at shot time this morning I am going to give .5u
I have hope that we can control him with food, but we may always need insulin on hand for if he gets into some carbs. And he is a major carb-a-holic too. He will go digging in garbage to get pizza crust, rice, popcorn... basically anything white and carby.
So, now we see how long it takes this bad food to clear his system. He's had 3 meals of wet LC since the bad food incident.
