What are the thoughts about Gerber brand jarred meats only? The nutritional value is stated as having no carbs which I'm thinking might be good for my Mimi who tends to run high at times. Thoughts?

No onion or garlic, which is poisonous to cats? If it says vegetable broth and doesn't define that, steer clear.
Usually, we stick with stage 1 that has nothing else in it but meat, and maybe salt.

Question? Mimis bean was she asking if it is ok to feed baby food to Mimi as the only source of food? Sorry to jump in on the post. I thought it was to be for certain cirmstances till kitty was eating again. Just asking

Glad you asked. I was just wondering if it would be okay to feed her baby food for "those times" hen she wouldn't eat anything else but I still need her to eat something so that I can give her insulin.
