How long will a prefilled syringe of B-12 last if stored properly?

What do you mean properly stored?
My vet gave me 12 prefilled to give weekly x4, then every other x4, then weekly. Only said to keep at room temp. Now I have a bottle and It fits nicely in the probiotic box as it says to protect from light.
