Avery Update - I131 Treatment

Avery had her radioiodine treatment yesterday and has been eating well at the treatment facility. They've been sending me email updates at least once a day.

She is such a huge presence at home; I'm missing her a lot! I'm hoping I'll be able to pick her up on Thursday, even if it means taking the day off work.

She's still at the facility even though 7 of her roomies went home yesterday. I have a sneaking suspicion that they're enjoying her company so much that they're making her stay longer.

She's been eating well and using the litter box. The RVT said Avery makes her day with her little meow and that she will miss her. We'll be picking her up on Saturday morning. I miss her tons!
