Well we now have gotten rid of 4 BBs (all silver so all from a shotgun). Not sure where number 4 came from as she literally spit it out the other day, so not sure if it worked its way out through her mouth or if she licked it out of somewhere and then spit it out, but with everyone we get out of her the lower her dosage goes. Yesterady on .25u I ended up having to skip her morning shot because by the time she got high enough to shoot it was too late to get a shot in before her next shot.

Yesterday morning she presented me with a 29! when I tested her for her amps so Lord only knows how low she went overnight (trying not to think about it so I can actually sleep nights). Of course by last night she was dang near 400 but we held with the .25u and got a pretty 145 for her amps this morning. Still holding her at the .25u until she goes below 120 for a preshot but at this point since my eyesight is crappy and I really don't think I can be consistant enough to dose her anything smaller than .25 and a fat zero doesn't seem to hold her, I guess we are going to just go with a "when needed" approach. If above 120 I shoot .25, if under that we skip, may not be a perfect approach but it is the only one I can see at this point.

Other than Autumn doing extremely well the rest of 2013 hasn't started off much better than 2012...Our New Year's present was temps in the single digits, snow and ice and the blower on the heater in our one and only vehicle going out. :roll: So until this weekend it is just freeze if we have to go anywhere, and that is just a party at 6:30am to take Jon to work in. <sigh> Now that wouldn't be so bad if our truck was where it is suppose to be in our garage, but since Jon's daughter seems to think we are free storage we have her non-running, non-plated and uninsured vehicle sitting where our truck should be. We have offered to buy the car from her since she has also managed to lose her liscense (she is just barely 21) and is in a heap of legal trouble right now for what it would cost us to get it running so I would have a vehicle of my own. Its a nice little car as it is a 2004 Ford Taurus, but we can't do a dang thing with it right now since while she got her ex-boyfriend to sign off on the title and she has filled out the buyer's part of the title she never bothered to actually transfer the title. So we are now stuck with a large hunk of metal taking up space, because she has also disappeared off the face of the planet or at least until she needs something (usually money).

Does anyone know if there is anyway to get a title transferred when the seller has signed off, the buyer hasn't transferred the title but filled in that part of the title form, but can't be located to finish the title transfer?

While it is great that Autumn having great numbers the very fact of those BBs make me cringe and my heart constrict for her. I really think a nice shot of BBs in the ass for the jerk(s) that did this - and then leave them in there until they worked their way out - would be a fitting punishment.

Mel, have you tried drawing to .25u and then twisting the stopper to expell a bead of insulin? That would put you at about .15u, I think and at least give you a dose between .25u and nothing. Not sure if you have looked into those table lights that are a magifier surrounded by the light - might help you. Here's one from Overstock for $30: http://www.overstock.com/Crafts-Sew...000357392&track=pspla&adtype=pla&kw={keyword}

Sorry about you truck heater. I have some not very fond memories of driving our family's VW wagon in the 70s that had a totally useless heater. I can remember driving with a blanket over my lap (stick-shift no less) and an ice scraper in one hand to clean the windshield - from the inside. Not fun at all. I suppose the Taurus' heat works fine too, right?

That's too bad about Jon's daughter's troubles. She isn't headed for anywhere good right now, so I hope she manages to turn things around for her sake as well as Jon's and yours. I have no idea about the car title thing. Maybe your car insurance agent can answer that. Or the local state licensing office. There might be an "abandonment" law, but that might only allow you to have it towed away and not to take possession of it. Also, because she is Jon's daughter, there might be some way that he can transfer the title. I bought a car from my father after my car was totaled (while it was parked overnight on the street - not my fault!) and because he had co-signed the loan on it the clerk told me "he can't sell his car to himself" or something like that. I don't remember the details. Also, my sister bought a car from our mom and after she had it 2-3 years the engine seized. It was at about 110,000 and had an original 120,000 warranty and because she was related directly to the original owner it was covered! That was a major stroke of luck since it was something like a $10,000 repair. Point being that family relationships have an influence when it comes to car ownership. Good luck with that.

When is Autumn's dental? It must be coming up soon.

Her dental is scheduled for Feb 14th....its her Valentine's present I guess...lol

I have done the expel a bead and most of the time I can get 5 drops out of .5u but just not sure how consistent those drops are.

Poor Autumn, it's probably a good thing she wasn't ready to travel when I offered to drive her to you on my way to Denver or I would known where that SOB lived and would feel obligated to go have a chat with him cat(2)_steam .

As long as the title is all filled out Jon should try taking it to the DMV and say he's helping out his little girl by dropping it off, he'll have to pay the transfer fee but it would be worth a shot, all they can say is no. If they do put it through and send the title to you you'll have it ready to have her sign off on the sellers part when she re-surfaces.

Scritches to Autumn.

interesting....if I read her numbers right today even at .25u we are too high...since she started the day at 145 went up all day to where she was 202 at +9 yet by the time her pmps rolled around she was down to 127, and that is even after the skipped shot yesterday...gonna try for shaving off about a drop or so. And what is even more interesting is that she went down after getting into honey bar-be-qued chicken...hmmm do we have a kitty getting tired of being poked and stuck maybe?

Sounds like she may have a plan that you're not completely privy to! Hope so!!!

Reduced her last night to as close as I can tell to about .15/.17 ish and today she has been flat yellow so far, but that normally means she is about to show some action in the next cycle or two, just have to see....if she doesn't hold I can always take her back up again.

That's what I'm thinking too, she is so close now getting her mouth fixed and let her heal up and she should easily go OTJ for me <anti-jinx, paws crossed).
