Automatic feeder?

Hey, guys!

Occasionally I need to be gone for quite a while during the day (like tomorrow). I'd like to keep Kitty on her feeding schedule (every three hours), so an automatic feeder sounds like the best idea. I have been researching them, and judging by the reviews, they all seem to be easily broken into. Do any of you use one? Are there any other options besides an automatic feeder? What do you do when you leave for long periods of time?

Thank you in advance!

Thats the one I use, but the 2 compartment. Poe has never "broken" into it, and I've been using it for a few weeks now, every week day.

It's great for the frozen cat cicles and you can put an ice bag in the bottom if you want. I usually leave him food, then set the auto time for 3 hours then 5 hours after.

I've used both and not had a problem with either of my cats breaking in. However, two different 5-compartment feeders died after 2 uses. The low tech 2-compartment one has been very reliable.

I do think I got lemons, though, since others like the 5 compartment feeder.
