Auto feeders

Hey all!!! I'm having a 6 portion automatic feeder sent this week. Was wondering...how many days have you left your sugar kitty...if they are no longer needing insulin of course..?? Is 48 hours max? For freshness reasons? Or any tips besides freezing the canned food in a little water? Just curious. Thanks for your input!!

I've never left ours for more than 24 even with the autofeeders. If we are going to be gone overnight I have someone come in and feed and check on them them. I would be concerned about feeder malfunction and the cats not getting anything to eat for over 24 hours.
