Bonnie's numbers are back on track after a very stressful 5 days (son back in ICU - her numbers go up then and I assume she's stressed bcoz I am) However things are settling and so is she.

Today reading +6 & +7 are dark green. Do I lower after 3 dark green or only if she gets the hypo green?

She's on SLGS
 
You would reduce the dose if she drops below 5 mmol/L (90 mg/dl).

Thanks for this info. Normally she just keeps dropping but I've been getting lower (but in dark green zone) out of the blue then she goes back to the blue. She is very sensitive to my mood as I watched her numbers as I was dealing with an issue she went higher then settled after I did.

She's moving a lot more now- she used to look like she'd swallowed a football but not anymore and her fur is back to silky soft instead of a toilet brush lol.

She's also becoming a lot hungrier and if I give her extra food she goes into the yellow zone so I'm going to try the Ziwi treats They're kinda like the dried bits I fed our dogs when I was training them - dried liver(??) Hopefully they won't push her numbers up.
