YES!! No kibble! I am really appreciative of EVERYONE here and all of the great words of advice and encouragement. I do not want to mess this up so yes, I picked up her dish in the basement and in the kitchen so no more kibble at all. I am going today after work to buy Aurora some rad cat - I will give her the raw as a treat as a replacement to the kibble and I'm also going to buy that freeze dried stuff that @tiffmaxee suggested yesterday. Just want to make sure I'm clear, as long as she's in the blue and under 200, no insulin at all?
 
Just my opinion but I think I would give her a few days for the carbs from the kibble to clear her system, especially if you have to be away at work and can't be home to monitor. I'm really curious to see what her levels do!
 
I wouldn't shoot either. We just don't know what she will do with the dry food out of her system. Look at what Rex pulled last night. Too risky.
 
Ok. I'm on board with this approach. I will continue to do an AMBG and PMBG - do you all agree that just the 2 are enough or do you want me to get in 1 before bed as well?
I can do this thru Sunday and see what her numbers look like
 
Good morning Nicole and silly Aurora! If I were in your shoes, I'd want to test at least once during the 12 hours between to be sure she's still pulling herself down after food. If her pancreas backs off some, you'll want to know that. The only way you can hear her 'sugar dance' tune is with your meter....

Very very bad!!! I wish I would have done this sooner and cut her off completely! I'm delirious with happiness right now....THANK YOU TO ALL who have supported me and encouraged me to dump the dry food!!!!!!!
