Do I just completely cut her off and that's it? I
I have no personal first hand experience on transitioning a kibble junkie from dry to wet however I see others have chimed in on the subject.

All you ever will need to know about feeding your cats, including tips (if needed) for transitioning from dry to wet can be found here. Dr. Lisa goes into great detail regarding the hows and whys of wet vs. dry. Bottom line-she would much rather see a cat eat anycanned food versus any dry food – regardless of quality level of the canned or dry food.

I believe this is where I found the advice to stop allowing the kitty to graze!

Aurora 178 at 5pm - just wondering if I should give her .5 of a unit tonight or leave her alone. I am only going to be feeding wet food going forward so there shouldn't be any increase from dry food consumption

Yay! I'll feed them dinner now and then cat momma can go to the gym for a bit. Do I need to check her levels again anytime tonight or next one will be tomorrow AM?

Looking good. I'd get a +3 to see if Mr. Pancreas is bringing her down but you don't have to do it.

Reporting in for the +3 = 182 so she seems to be pretty consistent all day without a shot today. Now tomorrow morning I won't have much time to think so if she is still same numbers I won't shoot at all, if she's slightly over 200 should I give .5 unit? I won't be home to check her until 4:30pm
