When your human is slow to get with the program. Be the visual.

I keep the scale in the box. He weighed himself, he got his meow mix cup.

Weight, home scale 12.6lbs.

How is he overall? Its good to read he is eating! :):bighug:
He goes to the vet Monday. He's losing some hair on his nose and the quantity of surface area it covers is increasing. Vet will look and culture. I hope it's something easy. He recoils in pain if I touch the side of his nose.
Eating.....self feeding comes and goes. If he doesn't seem to be taking in enough calories, I help. This am I syringe fed A/D. I'm lucky. He sits in my lap and lets me. I've asked the vet if it's habit or routine and he just expects to be fed. Vet said no, I think it may be part of the routine. When he got insulin, he got 15mls A/D syringe fed. Once I hit 15, he's ready to go. I try to get about 23-26mls to increase weight. I think it's routine. How would he get ready to leave at 15, most everytime?

He has to be kept from his bff and that's hard on him. Bff is 24+ lbs and the psi exerted when bff washes his head is too much for his head. After bff washes him, he'll be in a daze, head swells and he's in pain.

I've never really encountered other owners with tender-headed cats.

When medicating, I can not hold his scruff, as that will raise the pressure in his head as well. It took some time to figure that out, I thought the meds were making him ill. His neuro started me on the path of it's the pressure in his head, affected by scruffing neck, when I kept complaining about how he's be after meds. I trained him to take meds with out scruffing and what a differnce it makes in his quality of life.

Unfortunately, today, I bumped his head on the underside of the cupboard rail (or style, I forget which is which).

He's here, I love him and for a treat he got a bit of doughnut. A favorite. He also had his treat stash restocked, and petsmart is clearancing most of their toys, so there are a couple new toys at our house. (Although, they seem to have been claimed by others).

How cute. I hope he's doing better today. Sending prayers.

Thanks for the prayers.

He sat in his kitchen cupboard and supervised while I worked in the kitchen. Yes, my cat has his own cupboard.

He really is great company while I work. I love to have him around me.
