The low number this morning gave me a pause but I shot a 63 on July 20th. I'm going to keep a close eye on him (another test in 45mts.) and see what happens.

I'd test in 30 min. just so you have something to refer to in the future. Keep an eye and have some HC food around......also watch for the +3,4,5 which is when the insulin usually kicks in. Nice start!

A lot of the time they will just surf when you shoot low. I'd still test at +1 and +2 just to be safe.

I fed him a bit of his LC food for now in case he needs HC after next test. Is that right?

sorry, went golfing..........yes you can feed LC and that should also raise the numbers, if not a touch of HC certainly will. Remember ECID so what works for one doesn't for the other cat.

No problem, I was mostly thinking out loud, I didn't chicken out this time and fed him his usual LC and his numbers crept up a bit.
