Hi all,
have an insulin sensative kitty, steroid induced, OTJ for 15 month, general rule with me was don't shoot under 220. Tonight I shot a fat zero at 209 because he keeps ranging about 190 and my goal is to get him OTJ again. He is diet controlled and not on steroids anymore. PZI> at +3 he is at 112. I know this isn't anything to be alarmed about but he is only half way to nadir. I have hypo kit ready in case. He ranges in the 90's OTJ. any thoughts?
Thank you in advance,
Jeanice and Shadow

A number below 60 and falling is what I would consider "hypo territory".
If he hits say, 55, and then starts climbing up again, I would not be overly concerned.
Especially if he is just about out of the effectiveness range for his insulin.
But is he is 60 and going down - down - down - and passes 40, then I'd pull out the hypo stuff and get busy.
