At my wits' end!

Put your mouse pointer over the 2016 tab, then click and drag it all the way over to the left hand side of the screen so that it becomes the first tab.
Thank you!!!

So sorry to hear Saoirse has had such a rough time of it! I hope things are improving for her now.

Next time Squallie is at the vet I will ask for the B12/folate check. Thanks for that info.

His appetite has improved greatly since he urped up a big ol' hairball just before breakfast this morning! He scarfed down his food like a champ, lol, so I think that might have been the issue. Funny, though, he's never had hairballs before.

The vet'll have to prise all your kitties' paws off it first!
You are so right! :)

Agitation and exhaustion take such a toll on one, Mogs, I worry about you. Please take care of yourself and try to get some rest. Saoirse needs you, and so do we! It always brightens my day to know you're back on the boards and to read your posts. Terri (Cat Ma) has been asking about you, too. She hasn't been here in a while because one of her babies has been extremely ill and has really taken up all her focus and time; fortunately she's getting better but it has been a slow and worrisome process.

Sending you and Saoirse lots of hugs and healing vines. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you all for all the hugs and encouragement, it helps so much! :)

I am pleased (and RELIEVED!) to report that Squallie is eating again, apparently he had a big hairball that needed to come up, and did before breakfast today. His BG numbers were okay for about 36 hrs, now they're creeping up again but we're going to keep trying the 11/13 schedule and see if we can make that fly till we can see about switching insulins.

Khoji's problems are still very worrisome; he goes back about his leg on Tuesday and the vet should also have the info on an appointment with the cardiologist for him.

Candy's eye is okay, vet said no cut or scratch so she probably had something in it and irritated it more by rubbing it. She has a couple of days of drops in that eye, and the only time I'm leaving the cone on now is just after the drops for about 20 mins.

Still don't know why Vinnie has lost weight but I've been watching him eat and he lets Khoji steal a lot of his food - stands to reason that could be a huge part of it! Don't know why Khoji isn't getting enormously fat, lol.

So that's the update on my "sick ward" and hopefully everyone will continue to improve! Thanks again for all your support! :):):):):):)

Thank you, Lucy. My girl could really do with them right now. I could, too. It's miserable being in a state of constant fatigue. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm really glad to hear that Squallie's doing better today. Saoirse doesn't do as well when she's constipated. Is Squallie's coat thinner than it used to be?

Sounds like Lucy's Clinic might be easing a bit.

Have you tried one of these? It might be a little more comfortable and not so bulky or in the way. http://www.keepdoggiesafe.com/kong-air-collar.html

Hang in. When one gets sick they all do. Hard work for bean at the time. But then they all get better around the same time. MHO it's better all at once than one gets sick then better than next one gets sick, then gets better, than another. That never seems to end.

Of course you will need a vacation after. Think sandy beaches and tropical drinks.

That's very familiar, Lucy. Perhaps Squallie sheds a bit more than normal at higher numbers? Saoirse definitely did.

.
Yes, he does shed a bit more as a rule, but this time he isn't shedding much. Another reason the hairball surprised me. Of course, maybe I'm looking at it the wrong way 'round, maybe he swallowed up all the hair and that's why I didn't see much shedding, lol!
