Hi Kids:
~O) I know it’s not morning anymore but I am moving slow today. So I am still on coffee...Have been up late trying to get a job out plus messing with Asher’s food and dose has caused me to be up testing late at night. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Before I go clean all the snow off the truck (ugh) and go bring some wood in the house, I thought I’d give you a quick update...(some day I will live in Tucson, mark my words)

I am hoping we are mostly thru the Freestyle disaster, I think his numbers are coming in line, but that is soon to be interrupted by our dental on this Wednesday.

Today we finally had a yellow preshoot (211) followed by
+5 150
+7 75
+8 70

Around +7 is usually his nadir, so hoping we can get another yellow preshoot tonight. We are trying to get him stable too, since we both have to be gone for a bit Tuesday for a job. Then Wed is my "Xanax day" with the dental :shock:

We have been messing around with a dose in the 3.2-3.8 range, today is going well so possibly on the diet amount of food, 3.6 is his dose. Before the meter debacle, we were around 3.1 units BID.

I am so glad the ASher is just about back to where he was before
and so he is up about .50 unit, that is really not bad!
Hoping all goes well at the dental on Wednesday and good luck with the job!
Hopefully it wont be too bad
 
I think cutting back on food has helped us. Just wanted to mention that if other folks have hoover kitties/big kitties that eat a lot.....
 
I free feed too, but it is weird cause Shakes really only eats until about noon
then he naps most of the afternoon, with a little snack here and there
