Hi Kids:
Wow, we had another big night last night here on the PZI board! Lotsa posts! :-D

Before today gets nutz for me, I wanted to post where we are:

last night’s pmps 313, shot 1.6u
overnight +3 260
+6 290
today’s amps 260

So I shot 1.6 units again this morning, as we discussed last night and the night before. If he was in the 200’s, stay the course.

Also negative ketones this morning, and we r doing all of the 5 P’s :-D

So, where will this take us? What is next?
 
well, is'nt this something????? and who know's what just 1 unit will bring eventually (or not)
be remember to be on board the next time someone does not possibly believe they might shoot less to get better ok?

End of day update...

So...I am kind of confused since I didn’t fully expect him to stay in the 200’s like this. I thought he’d go sky high and we’d be increasing. So I am not really sure what’s happening.

Do flat numbers all day mean increase? Can I even consider the day at the vet numbers (because there were other variables that day) where he only got 1 unit each shot and ended up at 265 pmps.

Do I stay at the 1.6 for right now? I am pretty confused...but happy he’s in the 200’s :-D

Edit: No suggestions, I know it’s a Friday on the east coast :) So we shot 1.6 tonight. Fingers and pink kitty toes crossed.
 
I think 1.6u was a good choice. Let's see what he gives you tomorrow morning.

This is what I see:

Day 1 - He raised slightly all day.
Day 2 - He had a slight dip. But stayed in the yellows.

So there was an improvement each day.

So depending on what his AMPS is I would either stay the course and observe or drop the dose again and look for a deeper curve.

Hmmm. Just looks to me like the dose is too low, but I'm happy to be wrong! :mrgreen: The #s don't seem much different to me than they were at 2.7 on the 27th. If the dose was too high, I'd be thinking you would be seeing some blues & greens by now. It is kind of weird he isn't shooting higher, what's up with that? It reminds of acro-kitty SSs (which I have limited experience with), but I really don't think that is a factor here. Just somehow reminds me of it, all the yellow/pink stuff and lack of much drama.
 
ahhhh, joanna, but suppose asher had been rebounding like ... forever...have you seen that ss?
it would be understandable for the body to be processing this.
good sign is dramatic dose decreas is not affecting him.
 
omg, so sorry. i was thinking of another kitty who has very little data for the last year.

I think the lack of blues and greens is because they are backing down slowly.

Which is why I think another dose decrease is in order.

Give it a chance. It worked for Harley.
