Hi to all, I need your opinion. I use accu-check instant as glucometer. Recently the new vet requested to put libre 2 to my cat (as libre 3 is not available in Greece). It is easier and more convinience for me to not test him so many times per day with glucometer as I make many unsuccessful attempts because several times he bleeds a little (while I have warmed his ears and other times exactly at the same point he bleeds a lot) or he shakes his head and ears after the piercing or he is angry when he is hungry and does not sit quite mainly in the pre - shots. Also many hours I will be out of home at work in the next weeks. However in low numbers I used to double check the BG numbers from libre with these of glucometer.
All of you that you use libre which measurements are you enter in your ss?
Based on what numbers do you make your increases or decreases?
I am aware of limits of libre regarding its accuration in very high and low numbers but also human glucometers have their limitations in cats.
Do you enter in ss measurements of both?
I am a little be confused.
