Are there side effects when taken off insulin? Need help please

My cat has not needed an insulin shot for 3 days. He was on Vetsulin. He now has bad diarrhea. could this be a side effect of not having the insulin?

Stopping insulin when BG value to not show a need of insulin, or even if they do still show a need should not cause diarrhea. Has the food changed or another reason for the diarrhea?

only thing that has changed is no dry food, strictly pate, but that has been probably at least a week of no dry food. Gradually reduced to no dry food.

My cat's pancreatitis symptoms started to re-emerge within days of her insulin treatment finishing. Other members have reported similar. As Larry says above, food is another obvious contender - especially if you've been doing a food transition - but I'd recommend a trip to the vet as a precaution.
