Are people still seeing wierd numbers feeding Wellness?

Hi,
I was reading a while ago about folks having some trouble with Wellness spiking sugars more. Initially I wasn't sure, but really feel like I'm seeing it now too. Was getting unacceptable numbers and cranky kitty with sticky paws, got new insulin, figuring maybe that was the issue, no real help, and then started blending Wellness with Evo and BG chicken, and now am back to mellow girl with smooth dry paws. Am keeping my fingers crossed because her tummy is so sensitive to changes that I was loathe to try something new lest I rock the boat. So far so good.

I stopped feeding Wellness.

We've switched to Merrick's BG (before grain) chicken, turkey and quail/chicken flavors (96% meat -- the 100% is NOT a complete cat diet)

we still feed some Fancy Feast, but with 4 cats -- we use 8 cans of FF per day -- I get tired of creating garbage / recycling.

We also stopped feeding Wellness, I have enough trouble with Payne's #'s!

I have found FF to be reliable and agreeable to all my cats. I pop 16 cans a day! which I find very boring but I never have trouble with FF. (I do miss dry food! in a metaphysical way ..... clean bowls left out, filled daily)
Yet I get such satisfaction from the wet. I get to mix equal amounts of water in and I know my guys are being constantly hydrated. (plus as time goes by I add more water to keep it soupy ..... :)
Nancy and Payne (who loves ALL food, thank God!)

We had only changed to Wellness In late January then the recall came. I had enough food that was not in the recall to continue with Wellness since I did not want to go through the pukes and poops again changing food for 4 cats. I was skeptical but continued with Wellness. My boy is off the juice but his numbers are still okay. He stays in the 40s - 80s all the time. Only one time was 106 and that was in December i think. So his numbers have been fine on Wellness but he is OTJ. I don't know if that makes a difference.
