We started Duke on insulin for the first time this morning giving 1.5u, but his bloods are coming down really quickly and getting close to danger as you can see on his spreadsheet. I have just spoken with the vet and he says to drop his dose down to 1 unit twice a day, is this ok or should i drop it further? any help or advice please. I have fed him and his bloods have come up slightly since and i will check him again in an hour. Tee.
