Are dental treats safe?

Hiya.. I am stepping out for a bit & don't have time to look over the ingredients in the treats to say yay or nay.. post in Health.. they are usually speedy to reply. Dependant upon what you are brushing kitties teeth with.. most definitely Ok.. we encourage brushing their teeth.. I do both Sadi & Baby :-D
 
Many dental treats are high in carbs and/or contain sugar. CET dental chews are a safer choise for diabetics. Most vets sell these and you can also buy online. CET's dental toothpaste in poultry or seafood flavor are also safe choices for diabetics.
 
Raw chicken hearts or just chunks of raw chicken are good for a cats teeth. They actually need to chew them to eat them.
 
I read the same thing about raw chicken which is why I give him that as his treats for pokes. I parboil the chicken, though, so the very outside is cooked, but the inside is raw
