Anyone with a Lantus Solostar Pen? (Kansas City)

I am getting ready to make the switch from Vetsulin, Kazi's dose is currently only a drop so she may go OTJ for me fairly quickly. I was hoping someone might have an extra pen to sell me? My local pharmacies have all said they will not sell them as a single.

I would add the city/state where you're located in your subject line. Shipping Lantus in the warmer weather can be problematic.

Also, if you are anywhere near a university medical center, call their pharmacy. The university where I work routinely sells individual pens and they were actually surprised when I asked them for a box!

Sam's Pharmacy sold me an individual Solo Star Pen. AND they price match. (lowest in our case was Costco). Costco wouldn't break the box to sell a single, but Sam's just matched the price on the whole box then divided by 5. i think I paid around $38.50 for the single. You don't have to be a member to purchase pharmacy from them...just need a RX.

I have one left from what came with Oliver, but I am too far away, so if someone is near me - toronto - they can have this pen.
 
I can't remember if I asked Sam's Club or not when I called for a quote. I will check tomorrow, thank you for the suggestion!
 
Hi, Amanda... Sienne pointed me in your direction, I am in Overland Park & have a Lantus Pen. Baby has been OTJ for 1 month & 2 days :mrgreen:
