Anyone using 31 gauge needles?

WalMart is out of the 30 gauge 8mm needles that I normally use, but they do have 31 gauge that are otherwise the same. Is this a concern? I've never used the 31 gauge before. I've already been to two different WalMarts.

I've always used the 1/2" 29 gauge needles with no problem.

I have used the 31 gauge. It didn't give me any trouble.

A 31 gauge is fine as long as the U type is the same.

I've always used 31. They are thinner and should be less painful.

I used the 31 gauge without problem. I thought the 8mm length worked better for Sootie than the 6mm...or maybe it was me sensing that I had better feel of it going in with the 8mm.

We also use the 31g U100 syringes and Gizmo seems to notice them a lot less than the ones the vet showed me how to give injections with.

But like @Larry and Kitties mentioned, they do bend easily!

I use the 31 gauge short-needle syringes from Walmart. They work just fine for me.

Just bought the 31 gauge, and really can't tell any difference between the 30 and 31 gauge anyway, so it's all good.
