He has been doing so well lately I haven't tested him in a week or so. He went outside, and at bedtime, he didn't come to the door, like usual and he was sitting (not laying like last time). breathing fast. I brought him in and tested and it was 33
AND I just ran out of food this evening!! I have given him water mixed with KARO from syringe and he drank a little 1% milk. anything else? he just got up and is moving.

Vanilla ice cream if you have some. Also, you can try cereal if you have any. Any dry food kept on hand? You may end up, depending on his numbers and when he would normally peak, just rubbing Karo on his gums. The numbers will go up but then back down so you rub more karo until the danger is over. If you have any Nutri-Cal or Laxatone, those also are good for getting numbers up but food is the best. Any neighbors around that could bring you some cat food?
