We are in unchartered territory here. My Levemir board is not awake yet. If you look at my SS and then look at my shot schedule you will understand my wacky work schedule and shots. Vicky and Sheila helped me with the shot schedule it is amazing.
Any way we have never been in the 100's except for the occasional fluke.
We have been getting 3.25 units
last evening with the 136 I gave 2.5 units
Mickey's shot time today is a split dose 5a-8a/ 8p-11p to move shots to 11a-11pm for the next 5 days(work)

This morning since it is a spilt dose and he gave me BG 104 @ 4:17 am ate at 04:30 and at 7:30 he is 117BG 8:39am 105 10:21 am 139
I am going to split the shot to two units so 1u @ 5 and 1u@ 8 He is due for a shot at 8am
I am confused here.
Will be home today to get + #'s
Do I make any sense?

I'm sorry to not be of any help; Cedric was on Lantus. I guess it's ok to split his injections like you are doing? I like the numbers tho!

Maybe send Marcy a pm? Maybe she has a tip for you? I know she's up this early- I saw her online status a few minutes ago. sorry I can't help. I think you should definitely shoot something as long as Mickey is heading up in the bgs (and especially since you'll be around to test) but I don't know how much you should give with that wacky shooting schedule. It's pretty amazing that you can keep that straight. It would make my head spin! @-)

Mickey, those blues look good on you!!!

104 & 117 are essentially the same number, so I think I'd hold off till I saw a good rise before giving more insulin. But I'm a conservative doser. Like you said, though, this is new for Mickey, so being cautious is probably wise. What time zone are you in?

Hi Claudia,
I responded to Peggy's post on Lev. She shot .5 and will be home to test him today.
She's on east coast time.
Mickey sure does look handsome in blue!

Way to surf those numbers!!! I'd probably go conservative with the next dose this morning (unless I have read wrong and you have already given it  )
