Hello all,
I hope I am describing this well... My cat shakes/shimmies her scruff or shoulder muscles when I am tenting and get the needle right to skin, often times before I even insert it! There's been a few times she does it when I get the needle in or midway thru insulin injection. I used to think it was the coldness of the insulin... But it's not exclusive to that. FYI... I pull back everytime to make sure there is no blood in the syringe because of this. She also gets sub q fluids. So maybe scar tissue? We use tiny u100 Syringes. I hate it because it makes me feel like I am hurting her. Anyone else have a cat that does this?
