Hi
I have not been on the site in a very very long time (after having been on for years for a couple of diabetic kitties, including my soulmate Fred who died in 2010.)
I have since moved from NYC to Houston TX to come back and help my diabetic dad out. (Who by the way, was temporarily on his way to completely reversing his Type 2 diabetes by going on a raw vegan diet - prescribed by amazing Dr. Baxter Montgomery)
I now have 6 cats and one of them, Benji, has had CRF ever since I rescued him in NYC in 2011. It is recently progressing and I need to give him fluids.
It's been so long since I gave them and he is so skinny that I'm very nervous to poke him again. Wondering if there is anyone in the Houston TX area near the Galleria area who might come over and give me a little confidence boost?
Also, I'm trying to give him raw food, and Rad Cat just closed sadly. It's the only one he really loved. I'm wondering if there is anyone in the Houston TX area who makes their own at home? I would love to pay towards some of the expenses in exchange for getting some. (I'm a vegan, so that last thing I can bring myself to do is make raw cat food!)
thanks!
Martica and Benji (and Chloe, Elizabeth, Sammy, Rosie and Henry)
