Anyone heard of or tried this cat litter?

The pet section of the newspaper had a feature on some pet items. Kitty's Crumbles is 100% organic and made from coir fibers. You can put the used litter into the veggie garden or compost pile.

Does anyone know how this compares to regular clumping litter?

There's a free offer on the site for Australian pet owners and breeders: http://kittyscrumble.com/offers.html

I've gotten the coconut fiber stuff in a dehydrated brick to use as a soil additive and planting medium, and it's very very messy. I can't imagine using it for cat litter, it would be very dusty. And unless they chopped it up very very finely, the fibers would get stuck in a cat's paws I would think. I just can't imagine this would work. Would love to see what it looks like.
FWIW its a very inexpensive soil amendment. So if you don't use it for litter, you can add it to your potted plants or garden.

and while the stuff is biodegradable, cat waste should never be added to compost that will be used for growing food.
