Hello all,
Last night while injecting my cat she was squirmy and when I removed the syringe, there was bright red blood in it. I've had light colored pink in syringe before and nothing strange happened. However, last night she dropped 170+ in hour 1 and I had to force feed to stabilize her numbers. Then, with no food after hour 3, she rose rapidly and by Amps she was 530. I could tell she was not feeling well through all of this. So far this morning she is acting great and her am dose was normal and blood-free. She's on ProZinc. Has anyone had this happen? Blood in syringe and then a fast drop? Could I have hit muscle? A vein?
