? Anyone else having trouble finding Fancy Feast Liver & Chicken Pate?

For the past few weeks, I've been having trouble finding Fancy Feast Liver & Chicken Pate. I try to feed my cats this flavor every day. Target is my go to place for purchasing cat food but they don't see to have had this flavor for a few weeks. Maybe it is bad timing on my part, although I've been trying to order it for curbside pickup just to see if they have it. My grocery store hasn't had it since mid-August. They also seem to be low and out of other Fancy Feast flavors. I checked a Walmart grocery store a few times and they don't have this flavor. But both times I've gone into Pet Supermarket, there it is.

Has anyone else who uses Fancy Feast had an issue finding it? I read on Amazon that some people can't find Fancy Feast Savory Centers. So wondering if there is an issue with Fancy Feast somewhere?
 
Thanks. I'm glad it is making it across the border. I wonder if there is someone else in the area buying up that flavor for their cat but I'm shopping at too many different stores, different days and different times. I did just email Purina to inquire.
 
This is good to know. It is currently out of stock on chewy.com and there is one seller on Amazon who seems to have it. But it looks like the price is $4.99 a can compared to the 69 cents I pay in the store. I am good for a couple of weeks so hopefully the stores start getting stocked more regularly here by then. At least I am finding it at Pet Supermarket. Thank you.
 
Funny you should mention this. I shop Publix down here in Florida and my store only had 2 FF classic pate varieties. I am ordering cases thru Amazon to get what I want.
 
I am also in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area. So far I've been able to find the other flavors I want at Target. It's just this one flavor, Liver & Chicken, that I can't find at most of the stores I check. In looking for it, I noticed that Fancy Feast shelves at Publix are mostly empty. But then I walk across the parking lot to the Pet Supermarket and there it is on the shelf. I hope I can keep finding it there.
 
To follow up on my original post, this morning I went to Wal-Mart, PetSmart, Pet Supermarket, Target, two Publix grocery stores and even a CVS pharmacy just for kicks. None of them have the Liver and Chicken pate. Last night I played with the Target app and kept changing my local store from one in California to Ohio to Wyoming and so on. Most of them were out of stock of this flavor. A friend in Tampa offered to pick some up for me at her local Target but when I went to place an order for pick-up, they only had one in stock.

I thought I found it on Amazon but when I added it to my cart, I was informed it will be in stock on November 4th.

One of the managers I spoke with this morning told me that two or three months ago, some of the pet food companies sent out an email that due to COVID, some flavors may not be produced. They have to keep socially distanced in the factories so this is affecting production. With Franklin in remission, I hate to change brands. As long as I can find the other flavors in Fancy Feast, I may do without liver and chicken for a bit. I did buy a few cans of Purina ProPlan Focus Kitten Liver & Chicken. I may feed this to him once a week for the next two or three weeks.

I did email Purina and they are looking into the matter...I let them know that many diabetic cat owners feed their cats the FF pate line.

If I had one full-time job and a more regular schedule, I would be tempted to make him his own food. But some days I barely have time to make myself a meal!

I'm in the low desert (PS) first it was turkey and giblets. Went to petsmart bought a case (have purchased subsequent cases of same)
Then it was chicken and liver. When to petsmart bought a case (that was last weekend)
NOW its beef and chicken ...will do the same this week.

Something weird is going on...smh

I have seen a lot of good things said about FF pates on the boards. It is not a brand we get in the UK - does anyone know if it is sold here just under a different name ? Or it might be a USA only brand I suppose.

Well @JL and Chip I woke up this morning in shock. My order from Chewy has shipped! For the record I did check there a few days ago and they didn't have any. So not only do I have some FF liver and chicken pate headed to my house, this also means, in the pandemic era, I don't have to go in a store searching for it now. Thank you so very much!
