Hi everyone., Sorry for not posting everyday, Just run out of time and energy..Ive just updated her ss.

Anyway, have been trying to up Angels dose a tad, and she seems to get higher levels when I do??

Any thoughts on this? Not sure what to think..
 
Hard to tell without those midcycle numbers. She could have gone low and bounced. Or she could need more insulin. Can you get some numbers in the next few days? Then you'll know whether she needs more and you can adjust.
 
Ive got some numbers on her ss today. not too impressive really beginning to worry here..
why was she lower on less insulin a couple weeks back?? not sure what to do .. There for a few days i was hopeful, now I am not so sure..

maybe she needs a sliding scale.But how much when.??

I ve actually got a headache thinking about it. nailbite_smile
 
It looks similar to 12/29 when she started at about the same high number and then went down to a yellow and ended on a pink. You certainly could try a sliding scale.

If you can monitor, maybe something like this
400+ 1.4
300s 1.2
200s 1 unit

Try that for a few days and if she is still high, then we can adjust up. If she is dropping low, adjust down.
 
I stopped the antibiotics 2 days ago. I dont like to keep her on them too long as the vet thinks she causes this mentally.
 
My understanding is that antibiotics can artificially raise the readings so maybe you will see more movement down now. Best to you both!

We may be on to something!! Last night she was 445 gave her 1.4 this morning 357
Gave 1.2 now 345!!! I will get a nadir tomorrow if she is still in the 300's. Thanks!!
