When vet was prescribing it, she said it had steroids in it and I am wondering if anyone has had experience with using it on an FD kitty. I didn't ask a lot of questions because Smokey was uncomfortable before going in with her ears really bothered deep down inside to the point that she'd scratch a large spot bare and bloody on the top of her head. Once they started swabbing, and looking, and putting in meds the poor girl got downright pissed and my sole focus was to get her out home and comfortable as possible.
She's been diet controlled for over a year now. One of the problems is that I hate to even try to test her when both ears are bothered so bad and I don't know if I would be able to test her because she is constantly shaking her head and flicking her ears. Is 10 days of this worrisome enough to force the issue? Or should I leave it be until he ears are better and then just test a bit more frequently after we have her ears feeling better.
No real source of the problem shown so if anyone has ideas of why a kitty's ears would all of a sudden getting itchy and inflamed (both ears at once!) I'd love to hear ideas. Ifeel so bad cause she cries and walks around with her ears flat and I can't make it better for her
