Hi. Sorry I don’t remember what I’m supposed to do when a post/question has been answered. Do I just write answered in the title?
Thanks for your reply. I’m a vet tech so I get about a 65% discount on royal Canin rx food. Also , it’s not poor quality. It is actually completely well balanced and formulated. I have done a lot of CE on Royal CANIN diets and I also work with a board certified Nutritionist that vouches for these diets and I can always consult with her if I need advice on future changes.
Lily has been on this food for quite awhile and has been doing pretty well on it so I don’t want to rock any boats right now.
Her food is not as much of an issue right now as she just had pancreatitis and is on steroids which complicates things more. Prior to her pancreatitis she was making some of her own insulin and her BGs would actually drop after eating , not spike. She’s still not really spiking too much after eating. Her steroids nights cause her big spike. I know dry food/carbs don’t help diabetes. However, it’s not the biggest issue for her right now.
I do have a spreadsheet, I will link it today.
Thank you!
