Hello my lovely friends,

Our last condo was here- on Angie's birthday.

Thanks again to Dyana for the dose help. After her bg of 25 on the 23rd I reduced her to 1.0 units as we discussed. But, I wasn't able to test as consistently as I would have liked and I suspect she might have gone below 50 on the 25th so I reduced her again to 0.9 units. I'm still not always able to test as much as I think I should so after today's 47 I'm going to reduce her again to 0.8. She's seemed really well over the last few days.

Thanks to all of you who came to wish her a happy birthday. It felt like an important milestone because she's had such health issues this year, I thought that maybe she wouldn't be here for it. Because of all that it seems like even more of a gift to have her seeming strong and earning reducies.

Vines and wishes to all who need them. I'm still not keeping up with condos enough. I'm really looking forward to getting a little laptop so that I can go on the computer from bed.

I was going to get another test to make sure she's heading up again, but escape-cat is under the house.

Uh-oh.....will she come out if you shake some treats?

Angie is looking better....like her old self. I'm glad she had a great birthday.

Sending you many prayers and healing vines, Grace. I think it is fine you took her dose down a little more so you can keep her safe.

Thanks for the visit Marje,

Escape-cat is back... 3 hours later. I wish she hadn't discovered this hiding spot. The food treats got her to the edge of the house but then she realised mum was going to pick her up and high-tailed it. She's on her way up now. I suppose we can only guess what her bg got up to by seeing if she bounces tonight. :-|

Oh, I love a green pre-shot number :-D Little cat seems to be back to her old quick reductions tricks. I'm starting to feel hopeful for a 4th remission.

I have been trying to keep her inside in the mornings and evenings until her blood sugar is coming back up again. This morning was an escape though - in between my step-dad's legs while he was carrying something! I don't want to keep her in altogether because she walks around outside a lot - hunts butterflies, smells the roses (I actually saw her do that today!), sniffs the wind and sits in the sun. It seems really healthy for her. Inside she spends most of the time on my bed. I've even put her water on my bed (on a folded towel) so she gets really lazy inside. The vet said she was a bit dehydrated and we might have to give IV fluids if she gets worse. I felt like I couldn't do that on top of everything so I thought if I put water right next to where she sleeps, she might drink more. It does seem to be working and I've only spilt it once!

Hi Grace! ~O) ~O) ~O)

What a great day(s) for Angie. I love all that green, and those reducies! Well done, both of you. :-D

Mannie sounds like Angie, in the love for the outdoors. He was much the same, he thrived on being able to be out, did well when he could. He was good too, never strayed from the yard. He just so liked to sniff, feel the sun on his face. Very much like what Angie does.

Nice too on teh water ting. Awesome that it seems to be helping her intake more.

Hope your day was a good one.
