Angel - Time for fresh insulin? what dose?

She was doing so good for awhile... then slowly creeping up. We bumped the dose up a couple times but not seeing a good improvement. Starting a new pen tonight. If the old insulin was going bad and causing the creep, what should we start her with on the new pen? I was thinking 0.25? or would you do 0.5?

Keep the dose the same as it was. Don't throw out old pen, usually they don't go bad if handled correctly. Are there floaters in it?

Mom says it is cloudy... It's a vial - about 3.5 months old. The only question in its handling was the week Angel was at boarding at the vet clinic. Who knows what they did with it.

I doubt that your insulin is totally toasty. You were seeing nadirs in the lower blues. I'm with Paula, stick with your current dose. I might test a bit more so you feel reassured, though.
