Starting Lantus tomorrow! Really nervous but it's time. I told myself we would try something different if she wasn't drastically better in 6 months.

We completed the first step of operation get my boyfriends kibble addicted cat onto wet food so we can solely feed wet food. We sprinkled fortiflora on his kibble and he ate it right up. Going to try the wet tomorrow.

What do you guys think of 2u as a starting dose?
 
Good luck. Sunday's are my one and only day to sleep in. Hubby gets up and t/f/s and I try and get more than 5-6 hours of sleep. Sometimes he does it on Saturday depending on what is going on for the weekend but usually Sunday.

Don't be nervous. You and Angle will do fine. You are very well prepared and have your supplies. It usually takes about 6 cycles for the depot to fill.

Should I expect her numbers to be high for 3 days or so? And thank you!

It can take up to three days for the depot to fill and for you to see what effect the insulin is having. That said, ECID, so be prepared for anything!

As I think I mentioned previously, since you have been shooting 2.25 with the other insulin, 2.0 is a reasonable starting dose for Lantus.

Yes. That way, people can look back to see what has already been discussed. It helps prevent someone from asking a question that has been asked and answered, etc.
