Earthborn Holistics has new cat food in both dry and canned. There two grain-free dry and 4 grain-free canned. No idea if any of them are suitable for diabetics. The grain-free dry contains potato and 3 of the canned have starch.
I had a lady at the feed store show me a can of this before they had officially put it out for sale. I was in to inquire about special ordering Evo and was sort of in a hurry. She told me it was comparable to Evo and less expensive, but what she showed me (canned) was IN GRAVY and had veggies in it but I didn't have time to study the label and ingredients to see if this also meant "LOTS OF CARBS." The cans were also a little bit wonky in shape and how they open (it's all upside down)... but they are made with dolphin safe fish...
Thanks for the link! I was meaning to look into it further but I forgot all about it. I will have to check it out later and see if (despite the veggies) it could be used as an occasional treat.
This isn't really a new brand. I've seen it at the pet store a few times. The food is grain-free but a few contain potato starch (the gravy based ones) or sweet potato. The cans come in 3 oz, 5.5 oz, and 12 oz sizes. No fruits or veggies in these :thumbup
