Update on my cat's anal gland rupture.
We went to the vet for a follow-up today regarding her anal gland rupture from last week. They said it is infected, that there are 3 draining tracts, and to continue the Simplicef antibiotic for another 8 days but again, to not touch or clean it. They recommended non-clumping litter, too. She has an appointment with Internal Medicine on August 6th. I am disappointed that she is not healing normally. :arghh:

From experience the best non-clumping litter I have used since invented, is Pretty Litter, is magical! it checks your cat's urine, no dust no odder, just scoop up the poop and down the toilet. I have a Jumbo litter box 2 very big cats, it only needs changing once a month, and still fresh, I use the Lotus scent, it is a bit more expensive, but cheaper in the long run, best to you and Babyg, and I love the profile picture. hopes he gets better soon:bighug:;):cat::cat:

Anyone ever use Desitin? Vets are still not having me put anything on her butt but I feel like she needs SOMETHING to give her relief back there. Her skin looks so irritated.
