Hi everyone
well he came down this moring but I must have given him a fur shot yesterday
morning as he was 474 last night!
Hate those fur shots...
Jill, thanks for the idea, I might have to give it a try
Shakes seems to get cystitus lately so the cosequin helps with ath along with his arthritis
If you look at Shakes SS you will see at +4 the night before I believe he waas 360
then an 3 hours later he was at 430...anyway
wishing you all some great numbers today!
working late tonight...AT WORK...so my hubby is shooting up Shakes
I never do this but I prefilled the syringe....I am so nervous that he will shoot Shakes with
7 units like we did with PZI! also I pray he can get his number as shakes fights my hubby tooth and
nail when he tries to take his blood...I am not sure why

If you think you gave a fur shot yesterday, you should mark that on your spreadsheet somewhere (either write it in the Remarks section or add Fur? after the the 2.25 in the Units column.

It does look like a dose increase is needed. But, if you gave a fur shot yesterday, then maybe we wait a bit.
Lets see what others have to say.

I hope the cosequin is helping Shakes' pain.

Also, I know with Lantus, you are not supposed to prefill syringes, but maybe it's different with Levemir.
If it turns out that prefilling Levemir syringes is a no no, then maybe you could leave him an example syringe filled with some colored water, that he can compare the dose he's measuring to.
