AMPS No Shot Apple, Timing needed, Vet Gave shot on mt stomach 6 1/2 hrs after reg time

Took Apple to vet, not eating or drinking after dental surgery 8/5. I told vet not interested in his #'s, had been trying to feed high carb gravy FF for flavor, only wanted pain shot and sub Q. She went ahead and gave him a shot at 11:30 a.m. his regular shot time is 5:00 a.m. which we didn't give.
Now he's home and eating, his last test 352, but we don't know what time to give his evening shot which is usually at 5:00 p.m. after she gave him a shot 6 1/2 hours after normal time. I hope this makes sense. I don't know how to change the header to include date, sorry

I would just skip his shot tonight and shoot at whatever time you want to be his shot time in the morning. If you want to pick a new time go for it.

Thank you so much for the rapid response, we were left with no idea and the vet wasn't helpful. Have a great day/evening depending on where you are. :)
