AMPS 171, +5 68/69, +7.5 93, Still has UTI & new meds. Going to work a little nervous about new lows

Fergus seems to be doing great today. I am always nervous to see a green. Last time I cut the vet prescribed dose in half since she rapidly up'd us.
We are at 1.5 now and it seems ok. Fergus has had vomiting on and off but he is playful and eating.
Today the vet called and said Fergus' UTI was still there and the repeat culture showed a new organism. He needed a different antibiotic. Since the last seemed to make the vomiting worse I asked for a medicaiton to help. She sent Cerenia.
I am off to work and DH is taking over. send lots of love please.

UTI is some times hard to get rid of specially with out sugar kitties so hang in there

Fergus is looking good and so glad you are testing him. It is always nerve racking to see green at first but as long as he doesn't go under 50 on a human meter, all is good. Also, you want to be mindful of when in the cycle the green is. If it is at nadir, (usually around mid cycle ) then it isn't as alarming as seeing it in the first few hours of the cycle in the beginning. You will learn how to feed the cycle to maintain a nice surf. If you have any questions as you go along, please post and ask as we will all help you.
